I. An Introduction to Animus City
Hello wanderer and welcome to Animus City!
This is the third version of the site. About a decade ago, the original site was launched and would hold a roster of experienced and young writers and roleplayers who came together to tell a dark, spiritual, and deeply personal story that could not be told anywhere else. The original Animus site would lead many of its core members to branch out and begin their own spin off roleplaying sites. And while some of these sites had its fare share of small success, it could never quite capture the magick of the original City of Animus.
After some years away, many of the original site's core members have decided to come together and breathe new life to a story once told a long, long time ago.
Animus City exists in a realm between Earth, Heaven, and Hell. It is a home for lost souls seeking both sanctification and redemption. It is a realm that maintains universal balance, and because of this, it calls out beings that exists beyond the imagination of human senses. And while many seek to leave, there is simply no way out of this city. To give in, even just once, will compel the city to absorb your soul into it's own.
Resistance and order is the only means of survival in this city. So have fun, explore, and pray that you don't lose your mind.
